Mariluz Chan-Endres is a Contracting Officer and Team Lead for the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) in Port Hueneme. Mariluz began her contracting career via her selection to the Acquisition Internship Program and working for the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) in New Orleans, conducting Hurricane Katrina recovery and Base Realignment and Closure construction. She continued her internship at Specialized Contracting and Acquisition NAVFAC (SCAN) in Port Hueneme. As a military spouse, her other relocations and assignments included working as a contract specialist for the Public Works Department in both Washington DC and Bahrain. Upon her return to CONUS, she was selected as a Team Lead and Contracting Officer working for NAVSEA NSWC at Port Hueneme and continued her contracting support to the Air Dominance Department while stationed overseas in Guam and Japan. Mariluz holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Miami University in Oxford Ohio and a Master’s Degree in Human Relations from University of Oklahoma. She earned her Level III DAWIA Certification and currently holds a $100M contracting warrant. Additionally, she is a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps.
