Beach landings place forces at risk due to the complexity and vulnerable nature of the operation. Additionally, adversaries may disrupt beach landings using mines and other hazards. The U.S. Marine Corps does not currently have robotics capabilities for mine countermeasures in surf zones and beach areas.

The Solution

The Nauticus Terranaut is a sophisticated autonomous underwater ground vehicle (AUGV) tailored for comprehensive mine countermeasure operations across diverse marine and transitional beach environments. Equipped with robust navigation systems and advanced sensory equipment, it specializes in detecting and classifying underwater threats efficiently.
