Problem statement: The DoW seeks both medium and long-endurance Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) or other platforms that can collect and transmit multi-intelligence (multi-int) sensor data to support real-time operational and targeting decisions over expansive land, littoral, and maritime regions. The Government seeks mature solutions, not concepts.

Project: Suitable Warfighting Adaptive Payloads (SWAP-USV)

Problem statement: The DoW seeks to partner with established maritime manufacturers, autonomy developers, sensor manufacturers, and UAS developers to execute a multi-phase Prize Challenge under 10 USC 4025 with up to $100M in available funding.

Project: Ground-Based Affordable Mass Prize Challenge

Problem statement: Through Ground-Based Affordable Mass (G-BAM), the Department of War (DOW) is seeking mature, affordable, long-range precision strike systems that can be demonstrated within 60-90 days, certified, and scaled into production within 12-18 months.

Project: Space Power Beaming

Problem statement: Space Power Beaming (SPB) provides an innovative approach to remove the power ceiling and improve the duty cycle for on-orbit systems. SPB could also provide a means to reduce or eliminate the need for extended infrastructure and reduce the logistics burden throughout the spectrum of conflict. The Joint Force seeks a demonstration traceable to a future operational capability that will inform architecture decisions.

Problem statement: The DoW seeks a cost-effective, theater-range, massed, and modular Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) to provide a flexible, operationally-responsive, risk-tolerant option in the air domain.

Project: Specular MIST Prize Challenge

Problem statement: DIU, in collaboration with the Department of the Navy Rapid Capabilities Office (DONRCO) and Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific, seeks to identify innovative, scalable, and cost-effective solutions to address modern maritime training and operational challenges.

Project: Farseer: Quantum Sensing for ISR

Problem statement: The Farseer program is a multi-phase DoW initiative designed to rapidly transition mature quantum sensor and clock technologies into operational ISR capabilities. The DoW seeks innovative commercial solutions to prototype and demonstrate these advanced, quantum-enabled sensing and timing platforms to address warfighter needs.

Project: Rising Smoke Prize Challenge

Problem statement: DIU, in partnership with Blue Horizons and Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) RF Seekers Branch, is offering a $250,000 prize challenge for a conceptual active RF radar seeker design and future use considerations for use in a 2.75-inch class munition. This technology focus area supports efforts to evolve a low-cost 70mm missile variant by integrating an RF active seeker capable of all-weather lock-on-after-launch engagements.

Problem statement: DIU seeks comprehensive, end-to-end prototype software solutions that integrate existing hardware and software systems to provide a common data fabric. Project: MCM Modernization Prize Challenge

Problem statement: The DoW seeks modular, communication-resilient, rapidly fieldable capabilities to reacquire and neutralize near-surface and volume mine threats in the water column. In addition, the Navy seeks the full kill chain detect-to-engage capability for bottom mines, from safe standoff.

Project: Autonomous Resupply Vessel (ARV)

Problem statement: The DoW seeks solutions for a small, Autonomous Resupply Vehicle (ARV-S). The ARV-S’ primary job will be regularly resupplying containerized cargo to forward-deployed units in the form of Twenty-foot Equivalent Units (TEUs).

Problem statement: The DoW seeks modular and scalable simulation and training architectures for military platforms that enable 100+ players to exercise and rehearse within a shared synthetic battlespace.

Project: Endpoint Accuracy 2: CUAS Close-In Kinetic Defeat Enhancement

Problem statement: The DoW is seeking innovative technologies to enhance the lethality of integrated weapons and fire control systems, with a focus on improving effectiveness of Remote Weapons Systems (RWS) against Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) in support of the Counter-UAS (C-UAS) mission.

Project: Point Break

Problem statement: The DoWo seeks solutions for two lines of effort (LOEs). LOE 1 is the development and demonstration of multi-waveform lasercom optical communication terminals (OCTs) and orchestration capable of enabling seamless data transport across different waveform and network boundaries. LOE 2 is the demonstration of a reliable and high throughput optical communications between a commercially owned and operated proliferated Low Earth Orbit (pLEO) constellation and an airborne lasercom terminal in flight.

Project: Robotic Exclusion & Engagement Framework (REEF)

Problem statement: This program seeks a suite of systems approach to address the REEF challenge. By leveraging commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) sensors, edge processing, sensor fusion, software, and interdiction methods, this program aims to create a flexible, stand-alone system adaptable to various environments and integrable with existing USG systems.

Problem statement: The DoW seeks commercial advancements to create affordable and scalable GEO reconnaissance systems. These solutions, which include space vehicles (SVs), satellite buses, and payloads, are intended to provide high-resolution space-to-space imagery and accurate object characterization.
