Q1) How do I obtain the Government provided TDP for launcher interface and fire-control?

A1) Qualified vendors seeking access to the TDP should submit their request, along with proof of an active Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code and an approved DD Form 2345 (Joint Certification Program - JCP), to SWAP@diu.mil. DIU will provide a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) and access will be granted once that is signed and returned.

Q2) Is there a forum to ask technical questions about the Government provided TDP for launcher interface and fire-control?

A2) DIU will host a by invitation only, virtual Tech Day on Thursday November 5th 2026, for vendors looking to submit a proposal for the CAT 1 "Heavy Kinetic" track. Only vendors who have a signed CRADA on file will be admitted. Attendees should limit questions to the Government provided TDP and not other areas of the SWAP Prize Challenge.

Q3) Will ordnance be provided as GFE?

A3) The government will not provide test munitions for integration or testing during Test 1, but will provide GFE munitions for Test 2.

Q4) What will be demonstrated during Test 1?

A4) Vendors selected to proceed to Test 1 should be prepared to demonstrate a simulated, at-sea engagement within 30-days of selection.

Q5) If a vendor wishes to submit multiple configurations, can they submit more than one 15-slide deck?

A5) Vendors wishing to submit more than one configuration should combine their proposals into one 15-slide deck.

Q6) How will AVO integration be accomplished?

A6) If selected to participate in Test 1, vendors will need to demonstrate that their offering generally incorporates MOSA-principles and the ability to integrate with third-party systems. If subsequently selected to participate in Test 2, vendors will be required to provide interface documentation, SDK/API, and system simulator/emulator to validate AVO compatibility.
